I’d seen this docked over in the bay, so I had to wait until I had some free time to get over that way. My mum always talked about the Queen Mary, so I wanted to get pictures of it. I didn’t have time for a tour, but I quickly stopped in the gift shop and bought a mug for her birthday (which I’d give her when I was in New York next month). I didn’t realize there was a captured Soviet-era Scorpion-class submarine there too. Both of these were things to return to when I had the chance to do so.
Yeah, I didn’t make an original blog entry for this one either. I was trying new restaurants at each meal, which have been previously detailed in my Trip Advisor postings. As Seal Beach was my main place to stay when I visited, I didn’t need to keep writing about the same view over and over again.
This was another instances where I took pictures, but didn’t even make an earlier blog entry on it. The mountain with the “M” on it was in Moreno Valley. The other rock-covered mountain pictures are also from there. I spent the night in Riverside, and took some interesting pictures of where I got dinner that night (and things which were nearby).
It was all work on this visit, so I didn’t have much time to play around. I was able to get some pictures of the sunset at Seal Beach, but I had little time for anything else. There wasn’t even an original blog entry for this month.
