Saratoga Battlefield (Saratoga National Historic Park; Stillwater, NY) – May 2015

 The area where I grew up was full of local history, most of during America’s War for Independence and the era predating that.  Because this area is rich in these historical places, you should always take the opportunity to visit them.  Yeah, you might go on a school trip or with a social club when you’re younger, but seeing them again as an adult so you can really appreciate them is strongly suggested.  The original blog entry details the visit quite well, and now you get to enjoy all the pictures I took on the visit.

ECHO Leahy Center for Lake Champlain (Burlington, VT) – May 2015

 This was one of those items we spotted a brochure for, and thought it looked interesting.  Nine times out of ten, something like that is, so take advantage of it.  As it has a direct impact for the local area, I do recommend all the residents within a reasonable driving distance come and check this out.  It’s both fun and informative.  As mentioned before, the original blog entry gives all the specific details of the visit, so please refer to that.
