Phoenix is a pretty flat and brown city, as it’s in the middle of scrubby desert. Yeah there’s some mountains off in the distance, but when you look away from the city this was pretty much what you saw in most directions.

Skyline of Sedona (Sedona, AZ) – September 2007
Depending on the time of day you’re watching the sky, you can capture a lot of great pictures of the Sedona skyline. Some of the rocks in shadow or fully illuminated by the sun varies by when you get out to do this. In any light, all of these formations are majestic.
