Outside Moody Gardens (Galveston, TX) – September 2013

As I noted in the original, I’d been to Moody Gardens before, but my parents hadn’t (so it was a good place to check out).  There are three separate pyramids, each a unique attraction.  While the pink one was a “hands-on” learning environment, and the white was an indoor rain forest, we opted for the blue one (which was where the aquarium was).  Sure enough, we spent some time outside checking out the architecture of the whole complex.

Lone Star Flight Museum (Galveston, TX) – September 2013

I love air museums, as I get the chance to see the World War Two-era planes.  I knew this place was here on a prior trip to Galveston I did, but was able to see it then.  That was better off, as I didn’t have to time to really soak up the experience then.  This time we’d blocked off the morning, as it’d take as much time as it needed.  Again, the original blog entry was pretty detailed, so there was no need to go over it again.  You’ll see I took pictures of planes, then the picture of the informational card that went along with it.  What a good way to remember and share the knowledge.
