Fort William Henry (Lake George, NY) -- July 2016

Had to show off the local history by once again going to Fort William Henry.  The last time I was here was about a decade ago, so it was nice to revisit it.  I found a friendly moose, and because I got too friendly had to go to the stocks for a bit.  And there were some pictures of the view of Lake George from the fort.

Prospect Mountain (Lake George, NY) -- July 2016

Although I hiked up Prospect Mountain when I lived in the area, when I've come back to visit I've driven up.  Usually because I wanted to show off the view, and other times it was due to maximizing the limited time I had in the area.  It was a good clear day, so there was a lot of visibility.

And I added some pictures of Lake George taken during a boat trip to, in order to give a nice close-up of the areas around the lake.

Random Shots (Austin, TX) -- Spring & Fall 2015

The pictures of the bluebonnets were obviously taken in the spring.  You can see Stoop enjoyed hanging out in the flower.  The sunrise and sunset pictures were taken in the fall.

Mount Bonnell (Austin, TX) -- April 2015

Mount Bonnell is a great look-out point to see the Austin skyline.  The drive up to the parking lot is really fun as it's a nice steep hill.  Once at the parking area, you can take the long way around and hike up, or simply take the (many) stairs.  One change since the previous time I was there was the enclosure of the dedication monument, which obviously had been damaged by vandals.
