More of Grace Bay Beach (Turks & Caicos Islands) – October 2007

 I originally posted some of these pictures with a travel blog write-up (and the link to the original was below).  I decided I wanted to share all the pictures I took of a particular area of point of interest, so some of these you will have seen before if you’ve been following this blog for a bit.  The link below gives more of the details, so I’m not going to rehash them here.

 If you read the link below, you’ll see why the pictures of the “world’s most beautiful beach” are starting to look so different.  The calm water started to get rougher as we were witnessing the early effects of Hurricane Noel, and we debated whether or not to attempt to vacate the island early.  No matter what our decision was, we knew there would be an interesting tale to tell.

Grace Bay Beach (Turks & Caicos Islands) – October 2007

 There’s multiple blog entries on the whole visit to Turks & Caicos Islands which provide a lot of detail, so this was the first of two simply to show photos.  We stayed at the Royal West Indies resort, so all the beach pictures are from that specific portion of Grace Bay Beach.  There was a lot which was done while there, and pictures were taken as needed.  One thing you notice was the clear blue sky giving way to the cloudy bits.  From reading the full-detail blog, you know what comes next.
