My Mum took these pictures. Located in Balboa Park, the Hall of Champions is a three-story building which holds exhibits from various sports. Yeah, there’s a lot of see here, so be sure to leave you enough time to absorb it all. Right by there is the San Diego Automotive Museum, which also has a number of great things. I found it was always great to see the early 20th Century vehicles. Between these two places, that’s entire day right there to see everything there.
My Mum took these pictures. Located in Balboa Park, you’ll find a number of museums here. The first one stopped at was the San Diego Air & Space Museum. There are a number of aircraft here for you to see, but the featured one (in my opinion) is the greatest spy plane ever built – the SR-71 Blackbird. Keep in mind that the only reason these aren’t still in service was because satellites can do the job without human risk. But when you visit be sure to feat your eyes on all the other exhibits too.
My Mum took these pictures. From the city, you can take a boat ride down the Ottawa River. Once you leave the metropolitan area you’ll see nice houses overlooking the water, and lots of slips for small watercraft. Going in the opposite direction you’ll come to the Rideau Falls, which rise up to a height of 11 meters (which is about 36 feet). It’s a nice way to see a different side of this awesome city.
