My Mum took these pictures. This is located just over the river from Ottawa, so easily in the vicinity. The Canadian Museum of History is dedicated to the anthropology and cultural studies of the country. In addition to a number of exhibits about the First People (original natives) as well as the European settlers, giving equal time to all. As this covers all aspects of Canada, including the modern period after it stopped being a British colony (which wasn’t all that long ago). And if you didn’t know that, then it was a good reason to go and visit to learn about our neighbors to the north, eh?
