I originally posted some of these pictures with a travel blog write-up (and the link to the original was below). I decided I wanted to share all the pictures I took of a particular area of point of interest, so some of these you will have seen before if you’ve been following this blog for a bit. The link below gives more of the details, so I’m not going to rehash them here.
For me, this was a holy pilgrimage that I was glad to have done once. Again, was too busy looking at exhibits and interacting with those I was with to take a shit-ton of pictures. Obviously it was no longer manufactured there, but the museum was great to see the history, from different logos to videos showing all the televised ad campaigns. At the conclusion of the self-guided tour was a café where you could get a Dr. Pepper with all sorts of different flavors added in. The whole museum could be gone over in about 90 minutes, so it makes a good afternoon trip.
