Dick’s Classic Garage (San Marcos, TX) – September 2013

I’ll let the original blog speak for itself on this one, as this museum closed in 2019.  Most of the collection was auctioned off, and the remaining went to other locations.  Between the closure of this and the similar museum in Rosanky (Central Texas Museum of Automotive History), that was a loss of great history which was available to the locals to experience.  All the more reason to get out and support these places.

Houston Museum of Natural Science (Sugar Land, TX) – September 2013

I’ve always liked museums, especially things with dinosaurs and Astronomy-related stuff, so this was right up my alley.  As noted in previous entries, the original blog post was pretty detailed with all the goodies which were present, so no need to go over them all again.  Besides the pictures speak for themselves.  A dinosaur skeleton looking at you like a source to get some meat back on its bones says volumes.
