I originally posted some of these pictures with a travel blog
write-up (and the link to the original was below). I decided I wanted to share all the pictures
I took of a particular area of point of interest, so some of these you will
have seen before if you’ve been following this blog for a bit. The link below gives more of the details, so
I’m not going to rehash them here.
Again, this was back in the days of a film camera, so there
weren’t as many pictures taken as I would’ve liked. Knowing what we had in mind for that day’s
trip, I was choosy on what shots I was taking.
There were a lot of interesting exhibits at the LBJ Presidential
Library, and was worth seeing. (I did go
back there in 2014, but was too busy entertaining someone to take pictures.) Since the LBJ Library was on the UT Austin
campus, we walked around there for a brief period, but only really to get to
our next destination.
The Texas Natural History Museum was a great find, and something I
wish I’d taken more pictures of then. On
subsequent trips, the time to take pictures wasn’t there, and getting there was
a pain for it being on the UT campus (and dealing with their bullshit). Still, both places were worth going to see,
and you should do so.
