As you recall, September 2014 was when I began my stint of travelling to the Los Angeles region for work. The initial trip in September was to get familiar with the area, so many of the places visited were things my then-boss wanted us (myself and my counterparts) took us too. I wasn’t driving, so I got to spend a lot of time looking out the window, and taking pictures where I could.
The original blog I still suggest you reference for all the details. But when preparing this “journey via
pictures,” as I sorted through the quantity of pictures there were many I
decided not to use. If any of the
landscapes or city-scapes had too much traffic I wasn’t going to use those. And as at that time I’d was a frequent poster
to Trip Advisor, many of the pictures I took of where I stayed, the restaurants
visited, and food eaten I saw no reason to put up again. Now if a skyline can be seen as “uniquely
California” I’d still use that, same was true for places where I ate. But a generic restaurant, while local, I saw
no need to show again. Of all the places
I visited, I wonder how many of them are still around a decade later.
