Keep in mind what the elevation is here, as Sedona does get some rains in the afternoons in the late summer months. It doesn’t usually last too long, just enough to roll in and make everything wet (and kick the humidity up a bit). Still it’s interesting to see those majestic peaks with the dark clouds by them.
Also while in the area, had to stop by and check out the Red
Planet Diner. This was a nice homage to
the 950’s flying saucer craze, with the interior matching that. There were fun touches like the “wait to be
seated” and “exit” signs. Standard diner
fare, but such fun atmosphere.
