My Mum took these pictures. So you want an interesting experience when you’re at Niagara Falls, then you should do the Maid of the Mist. Once you put on your rain poncho (which won’t keep you from getting wet, only from being soaked), you’re on your way. Hop onboard a boat which will take you up close to the falls, and sound is over-powering. If you weren’t drenched enough, then you’ll get to go on to a walking path behind the falls. It’s “less wet” there, but you need to be mindful of your footing. It’s a sight to behold, being that close to this powerful symbol of the natural world at work. It’s worth your time to do so.
