My Mum took these pictures. It doesn’t matter if you’re a baseball fan, a history buff, or both, a trip to the Baseball Hall of Fame is always worthwhile. The small village of Cooperstown is pretty easy to get to, but it’s highly recommended you park outside the town and take the shuttle in. Most of the major attractions are within walking distance that way. Doubleday Field has had many games played on it for decades, and was still in use today. But the real treat is the museum itself. Artifacts of the past are great to see, from the uniforms of the Brooklyn Dodgers (before they baggered off to the west coast), who had the greatest number of hits of all time, to information on one of the greatest players ever (that’s Jackie Robinson, and don’t let anyone tell you anything different). With so many great things to see here, plan on spending the entire day to experience it all.
