I originally posted some of these pictures with a travel blog
write-up (and the link to the original was below). I decided I wanted to share all the pictures
I took of a particular area of point of interest, so some of these you will
have seen before if you’ve been following this blog for a bit. The link below gives more of the details, so
I’m not going to rehash them here.
This was a location I’d been to a few times before, and each time
there was more things to see. The views
of the lake was the best part of the experience. It was also enjoyable learning the history of
the area, playing with things which people amused themselves with of this
bygone era, and seeing the sleds which were considered “latest technology” at
the time. The fire tower was fun, as the
steel frame appeared rusted and swaying, but if it was considered unsafe then
it would’ve been open for you to climb to the top. This was a great way to spend the afternoon.
