Duck Tour and Exploring Downtown (Austin, TX) – March 2006

 I originally posted some of these pictures with a travel blog write-up (and the link to the original was below).  I decided I wanted to share all the pictures I took of a particular area of point of interest, so some of these you will have seen before if you’ve been following this blog for a bit.  The link below gives more of the details, so I’m not going to rehash them here.

Here’s another batch of pictures from the same trip.  We poked around downtown Austin for a bit, and then ended up doing the Duck Tour on the river north of the city.  And then after lunch strolled around the capitol grounds.  Of course, you couldn’t do any of that today between the homeless encampments, gang fights, and hate groups masquerading as “social justice warriors.”  Still, it was a good look at how nice the city used to be.
