I originally posted some of these pictures with a travel blog
write-up (and the link to the original was below). I decided I wanted to share all the pictures
I took of a particular area of point of interest, so some of these you will
have seen before if you’ve been following this blog for a bit. The link below gives more of the details, so
I’m not going to rehash them here.
You’ll see that as I’d gotten a digital camera around this time, the
number of pictures of an area has increased.
The original blog entry goes into great detail of the Planes of
Fame Air Museum, which was my intended target for that morning. What I forgot to mention previously was there
was a more direct route from Flagstaff to Valle, which would’ve been a
third-less the distance (and probably a more pretty drive). The reason I took the “due west route, with a
hard-right turn north” was due to the fact I expected the town of Williams to
be right at the exit (not a few miles to the south). My plan that morning had been to get
breakfast in Williams, then drive on to Valle.
Since there wasn’t a place for me to grab a snack, I was quite glad to
locate the Flintstone Diner in Valle so I could actually have something to eat.
