I originally posted some of these pictures with a travel blog
write-up (and the link to the original was below). I decided I wanted to share all the pictures
I took of a particular area of point of interest, so some of these you will
have seen before if you’ve been following this blog for a bit. The link below gives more of the details, so
I’m not going to rehash them here.
You’ll see that as I’d gotten a digital camera around this time, the
number of pictures of an area has increased.
I’d mentioned to the hotel staff I was driving down to Sedona the
next day, and they recommended that if I’d never driven Route 89A through Oak
Creek Canyon before, to do it in the daylight when I had visibility. I took that as a tip from the locals, which
proved to be the correct action. I
wanted to get as much hiking in as possible, but I had other targets in Sedona
as well. A lot of what I was trying to
accomplish that day I got done, but with very little hiking. I just decided to redo my schedule and have a
second day in Sedona. Until then, here’s
some random pictures from that first day.
