Yeah, the same opening paragraph you’ve read before. Some of these pictures were posted originally
with the travel blog write-up (original link below). Now instead of a select few, I’m sharing just
about all the pictures. Some blurry or
bad shots were removed, as well as some with others who would appreciate not
having their pictures posted again.

Since we were in the area, it made sense to swing over to Crown
Point, on the shores of Lake Champlain.
We didn’t have time to get to go over to the ruins of Fort Crown Point
(which was constructed during the French & Indian War). That was closed off at the time, as there was
a new bridge over the lake being constructed, as the old one had been
demolished in a storm. So we went over
to see the Memorial Lighthouse named for the European explorer who “discovered”
this body of water. Didn’t see the famed
lake monster, but there was too activity there probably for camera-shy Champ to
surface.
