St. Croix – Exploring the North Part (U.S. Virgin Islands) – August 2012

I know you’ve seen this standard opening before.  But I just have to note that some of these pictures were posted originally with the travel blog write-up (original link below).  Now instead of a select few, I’m sharing just about all the pictures.  Please be sure to visit the original blog link for more details of the original visit.

As part of my exploration of the island, on the idea that I wanted to move there, it was good to go as many places as possible.  I mean it’s nice to sit on the beach all day and work on the tan, but seeing new things was good too.  Besides, I was paying for a rental car, so might as well use it.  I went up the north part of the island, and enjoyed driving on the left side of the road. My eyes soaked in the scenery, and wherever I could I pulled off the road in order to take some pictures.

The original blog gives more details of the actual routes taken, so you know exactly where I was.  I’m sure many of those little bays and coves have their own names, but I don’t recall seeing signs which said that.  But my driving plan as I tooled around the northern part of the island was to make my way towards Cane Bay.
