While we were in Galveston, we decided to even check out the small stuff, as anything could be potentially interesting. The Rosenberg Library had a small museum on the second floor which had bits of local history. It didn’t take more than a half-hour to look through it, but it was still nice to see. The historic tour had mentioned the Star Drug Store, built in 1886, so we decided to scope that out as well. It was fun to sit in a 1950’s-style establishment to get some fountain sodas. Sometimes these little experiences are fun too, so don’t forget those.
