The whole point of going to a tropical island is to enjoy the beaches, which I did each morning. I’m too much of an active person to sit on the beach all day and work on my tan. I’d rather be up moving around, exploring, and seeing interesting things as I work on my tan. Nevertheless, this was the beach at Pelican Cove where I was staying … the beach I walked every morning I was here. And yes, that s-shaped tree is what I consider my “sacred spot” on the island. Since the cove faced generally east, I got a good view of the sunrise.
