Of course, after enjoying the beach that first morning, then I headed out to the east end of the island for a return visit to Point Udall (and the Millennium Monument there). There’s no lights of any kind there, or in the area, and I’d been considering travelling out there while it was still dark so I could watch a sunrise from there. Just because I wasn’t very familiar with the narrow curvy roads there, I passed. But I also returned to the areas nearby as well, like Split Cove (whose sign was no longer visible).
