My Mum took these pictures. While visiting the area where the “western relatives” live, one of the field trips which was done was to the remains of Palisade Lodge. It was originally built in 1876, but very little remains of the building. Also in the vicinity was a major rail line, which was still in use. While not a lot of historic stuff to see here, what’s of more interest was the terrain.
